P.S.H.E. is about helping our pupils to have essential life skills which will help them to become well balanced members of society and good citizens.  All members of Staff have a programme of work to follow, and are supported by outside agents such as our School Nurse, Jill Bonney, our Police Liaison Officer, P.C. Chris Warlow and our local Fire Service Officers.  Through our programme, our pupils will learn:

Ø Good citizenship.

Ø Healthy eating, good blalanced diets and exercise.

Ø How to care for our bodies and haow to develop a good personal hygiene.

Ø How to keep ourselves safe and to be aware of “Stranger Danger”.

Ø Drugs awareness, solvent abuse and the harmful effects of smoking.

Ø Good Behaviour, Good Conduct – especially in the community.

Ø Health and Safety – including an awareness of the dangers of fire.

Ø Road safety.

Ø Some aspects of First Aid and how to help in an emergency.
