I am really delighted, as Chair of the Governing Body, to have the opportunity to welcome you and your child to St Mary’s & St Patrick’s Catholic Primary School.

However there is more to our school than just the important and prime function of learning.  Our school is a happy, caring and sharing community, existing in the heart of the Catholic Parish.  Our aim is to promote the spiritual and humanitarian welfare of our children as well as the intellectual development required, to ensure their steady progression towards good citizenship.  Every effort is made to ensure that the right environment exists for our pupils to develop to their full potential, so they may take their place as good, solid members of society.
