Homework
Homework is given at the discretion of each teacher and will take different forms in each class. Please ask your child to tell you what homework he/she has been given and please provide him/her with a quiet environment (preferably at a desk or table) where the work may be completed in peace. Please give your child any help he/she may need and please ensure the homework set, is given in on time.
Most teachers will expect reading to be done at home. Remember that it is very important that YOU read to your child as well as hearing him/her read when he/she has reached that stage of development.
Help with spellings and learning tables would also be much appreciated. Some things just have to be learnt.
If you are unsure about any homework sent home then please ask your class teacher for guidance.
