School Council

Recently the Welsh Assembly has asked for every school to have a School Council.  We have recently formed ours by holding a hustings with the nominated delegates sharing their manifestoes.  Pupils from Class 3 to Class 7 then held a democratic election and one boy and one girl from each class has been elected to sit on the School Council.

Abigail and Liam in Class 7 have been elected as Chairpersons for the coming year with Danielle being secretary.  Miss Browne and Mr McGuckin take it in turns to sit in on the meetings but only to give occasional guidance.  The agenda is set by the pupils themselves.
