The Governing Body of St Mary’s & St Patrick’s is a dedicated team of people who manage and oversee the effective running of our school.  St Mary’s & St Patrick’s is a Voluntary Aided Catholic Primary School and, therefore, the Governing Body is the employer of the Head Teacher and Staff.

As a Catholic School several of the Governors are appointed by the Archbishop of Cardiff (The Most Rev. Peter Smith) and are asked tp preserve the Catholic nature and distinctive religious ethos of the school.  These Governors are called Foundation Governors and have to   be practising members of our Catholic community.
